H.Glass was established in 2011 with the vision of making the Eco-Habitat and sustainable building a reality. Since then, we have developed a unique manufacturing process of glass encapsulation of the dye-sensitized solar cells used in the glass device. Our technology has come to life in large pilot projects and has been recognized by several awards. In 2014, H.Glass received the prestigious Watt d’Or award in the category “Renewable Energies” by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy.

The position is based in Lausanne – EPFL Innovation Park.

We are currently looking for a Creative Mechanical Engineer


Your mission

  • Mechanical Design of structures and modulable structures
  • Designs products varying in complexity from a single piece component to complex systems
  • Work closely with our R&D department to achieve proper Technology integration
  • Creating and developing, analysing and optimizing products
  • Collaborate with the Industrialisation and Production Department and seek solutions for scaled up Production


Your profile

  • BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the construction and development of mechanical systems and designs
  • Creative and Innovative mindset
  • Very good knowledge of CAD tools
  • Excellent statistical data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effectively reports progress and problems through written or oral reports.
  • Experience with Lean Management is a plus
  • Fluent English
